We have reached Stephen Moffat's third contribution to Doctor Who, and this time it's a "Doctor Lite" story. The Doctor and Martha, trapped in 1969, Sally Sparrow exploring spooky old houses in 2007, a DVD easter egg featuring half a conversation, and some lovely statuary.
So what did you think of it?

Brilliantly original, superbly played by an excellent cast. Please can we have this Moffat back?

Not quite as good as they reckon, 4.5, rounded down to 4, just because what surrounds it is much better.

Definitely one of my favorite episodes. Plenty of memorable dialogue, good performances, at times haunting music and excellent monsters. In some ways, it feels to me like an episode of a spooky anthology series that The Doctor guest-appeared in. It's one I've watched many times and always enjoy.

This was an easy five for me. Genuinely creepy atmosphere, and seeing Mr. Tennant on several screens all engaged in portions of a conversation was disturbing. I love how the Moff plotted this one out, so that the conversation only made sense when you got to it. They even included that as an easter egg on the S3 Box Set DVD.
Speaking of creepy music, the audio commentary between the Moff and Murray Gold revealed that the oboe player was none other than Julie Andrews.
