5 Who Characters That Deserve A Spin-Off Series

Post by Patrick on Tue Nov 29, 2011 11:36 am

I found this link, and thought it would make for an interesting topic of discussion.

What do you think?
Spoiler:
The Adventures of Sally Sparrow would certainly work for me.

I dunno, Carey's pretty busy now.

I'm not sure I'd give any of those characters their own spin-off. Wouldn't mind seeing Canton or Sally play companion again for a few episodes though. If I were somehow to be asked to produce a new spin-off, I'd either go with bringing back Romana (who could easily replicate the formula of the original show) or I'd make a general "Whoniverse" series with numerous former characters/companions teaming up.

About the only one of those I'd be interested in would be Mr and Mrs Smith, the rest would feature levels of smug self-satisfaction that would likely burn out my TV.

James Corden and Daisy Haggard as Clive and Sophie. Accidentally fighting aliens in Colchester, whilst struggling with the horrors of parenthood.
