Robin Williams, 1951-2014

Hard to believe this news, really.  He was such an incredible talent, comic and manically focused on being entertaining one minute in this stream of consciousness rant, and then he could turn around and deliver some of the most poignantly dramatic moments on film.  You'd have thought he'd be here forever.  But apparently depression is something no one who hasn't suffered from it can truly understand.

Nano, nano, Mork.  You will be missed.

I was genuinely shocked, and saddened, to wake up to this news today. I go right back to Happy Days and Mork & Mindy. RIP to a hugely talented man who finally got beaten by his demons.

I know exactly what you mean, C=O. I arrived home after work yesterday, only to hear this news for the first time, and was in disbelief the first few times I heard it.
