Yes , Im a bit late to this party as always, but better late than never.

This is a hilariously dry wee take of NewZealands finest comedy, Indie/folk rock acoustic pastiche group, Bret McKenzie and Jermaine Clement , bolstered by their Clueless manager Murray aka Gingerballs.
The tunes that th eshow veers into are great swipes at Hip hop, Shabba reggae, Pet sho biys , boy band tunes etc and all done lovingly and amusingly.
heres what Wiki says:
The duo star in a television series for HBO, titled Flight of the Conchords, which premiered in the United States in June 2007. The series revolves around the pair as they try to achieve success in New York City as a band and tries to develop an American fan base. The regular cast includes fellow comedians Rhys Darby as Murray, Arj Barker as Dave, Kristen Schaal as Mel, David Costabile as Doug and Eugene Mirman as Eugene. This show also features many other comedians in guest starring roles. Their songs are woven into the plot of each episode. The first season consisted of 12 episodes. A second season has been confirmed and the band announced on their MySpace blog the season should air in January 2009 – later than first expected.[14] The DVD for Season 1 was released on November 6, 2007.[15] The series premiered in Canada on the Comedy Network, Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT.

I like the couple of episodes I've seen. The "Lord of the Rings" stuff was great Smile.

The album is great.....try to find their BBC radio show that Rob Brydon narrated...its hilarious.....
They did a few live albums too......You can seek them on various torrent sites and listen before you buy....
HMV are selling the series 1 DVD for about 12-15 pounds, well worth a flutter.
Guarentee you will rewatch them time and again...

The second series, partiuclalrly the latter half, is way better than the first. The ones with Brian, the Prime Minister, are absolute genius.

And I love Bret's description of the pet shop as "the cheap zoo" Very Happy.
