That was rather bloody fantastic, wasn't it?

An unbearable cliffhanger as well!

A whole year... Sad

The 3rd (and final) series starts filming in September. Very good ending, loved Alex seemingly being in a coma in 1982 thinking she's coming out of the 21st century coma.

Speculation here, but I'll tag it anyway.
Spoiler:
For the big ending next year (and Glennister has said that'll be it for Gene Hunt) how about both A2A and LoM ending up having actually been Gene in a coma imagining all about Sam Tyler & Alex Drake?

Spoiler:
You know, I'd be really upset to find out that Sam Tyler was only a construct. Mind you, I was wee off at the idea that everything was only in Sam's head at the end of LOM.

I prefer my understanding of the ending of LOM. I am a firm advocate of reader-centred criticism. So there! :p
