Next weeks's telly
Looks good: New series of The IT Crowd (Friday) Lead Balloon (Thursday) and Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe (Tuesday), plus The Devil's Whore (Wednesday), starring John Simm and Andrea Riseborough, with Peter Capaldi, Maxine Peake, Tom Goodman-Hill and Harry Lloyd.
And, of course, the last Stephen Fry in America and more Little Dorrit.
That'll be me staying in every evening, then...

If it doesn't have Bill Oddie or Kate Humble in it - then it isn't canon.

My kids quite literally worship Bill Oddie. Also Graeme and Tim. They can all (even the just 5 year old) performance art all the Goodies episodes we have (basically, all those released on DVD).
When you add that to the Bruce worship and the whole Doctor Who thing it's clear my kids are living in the 70s.

Well, televisually there are far worse decades for them to live in.sheringham wrote:Sid Seadevil wrote:If it doesn't have Bill Oddie or Kate Humble in it - then it isn't canon.

Surely a suggestion that you are bringing them up perfectly! I wish I was back in 1970 sometimes. I could at least see all the Timeslip episodes in colour again.
