Silurians. If I'm truthful, more because of the book than the actual telly.

Silurians, but it's so long since I've seen it.

I think because the sheer scope of the story, and the tangible race against time, and the Doctor not dismissing the monsters as just monsters.

And Inferno. Eyepatch.

All of these are great Stories so its difficult to find a favourite one Very Happy. But probally is inferno the parallel world story helps split up the otherwise rather long 7 episodes, helping the story move at a more cracking pace.

I went for Inferno - nothing much wrong with the other two, but Inferno's my favourite Pertwee. It's one where I wish I'd been born in time to watch it on TV and have the parallel world plot come in as a complete surprise rather than being the main reason everyone remembers it.

That's an interesting parallel with The War Games, actually - fandom remembers them as The One With The Parallel Universe, and The One With The Time Lords At The End, which is an interesting reverse of how they were presented at the time.
