Re: And on that Bombshell...Top Gear
So, it turns out that Officers DO work, after all. And it wasn't the river Kwai they were, um, erecting a bridge over.
I have to say as specials go, this was okay, but it was not the best they've done.

Any idea on when Season 22 is scheduled to start? And whether we will have to refer to start referring to Clarkson as "Jennifer"?

Re: And on that Bombshell...Top Gear
I missed Top Gear: The Perfect Road Trip Monday night. When I finally got home after Council, I was all set to watch the first new bit of Top Gear we've had since February. And what happens? A thunderstorm of biblical proportions blows in and blocks my satellite signal. CURSES! I gave up trying to wait for the signal to come back when, 25 minutes later, the storm showed no signs of abating.

So what's been the fallout of Top Gear's recent eviction from Argentina? It was quite newsworthy while I was at my conference at the start of October, but the story has sort of fallen out of the headlines since then.

Re: And on that Bombshell...Top Gear
That's good, then. My latest issue of Top Gear magazine reached my tablet with a note at the end of Jeremy Clarkson's article with something of a Sixth Doctor sentiment to it: "I'll be here for the next season of Top Gear whether you like it or not." (Not in so many words, but that was the general theme of the message.)
