Come Fly With Me
...is the title of the new show by the creators of Little Britain. And I just discovered this PROMOTIONAL TRAILER for the show on the Anglophenia blog at BBC America.

One of them appears to be blacking up in one of the promotional pictures I've seen. Oh goody, more 'ironic' racism...
Re: Come Fly With Me
Having not seen any promos for the show yet, I can only be thankful for my good fortune.

Re: Come Fly With Me
Funny you should mention "The High Life". I actually downloaded the series earlier this year out of sheer nostalgic curiosity. I'm please to report that it was every bit as funny as when I originally saw it.

Re: Come Fly With Me
Camp as a box of frogs, but great fun.
*Unfortunately* Cumming got the (wonderful) role of Boris in "Goldeneye" and that was the premature end of the show. Great shame really.

Re: Come Fly With Me
Great shame indeed. Although like "Fawlty Towers", perhaps it was ultimately better for the to enjoy one classic series and go out on a 'high' as it were, rather than continue and tarnish the brilliance of what we have.

Re: Come Fly With Me
I'd been avoiding this thread, because I'd assumed that you would be discussing Come Fly With Me. Why wasn't this thread advertised with the words The High Life? I loved that show. It's the only fictional example of intense camp that continuously managed to make me laugh (Julian Clary and pre-big time Graham Norton manage it in real life).
