Minder on Five
Well that was much better than I had expected. Yes, it suffered from the usual first episode setting things up syndrome, but it shows definite promise. Richie and Shrapnel are perfectly cast - I can definitely see this being a big success for Five.

Re: Minder on Five
I'm not watching this for three reasons;
1) I have a 7" copy of 'I Could Be So Good For You' signed by Dennis Waterman;
2) Shane Ritchie;
3) I can't actually get five.
Now go on Terence, 'it 'im!

It's actually a pity you can't get Five - cos Richie is actually very good in this. In fact it definitely shows promise - as well as a genuinely warm affection for the original source material.
I was very pleasantly surprised. Especially since when it was originally announced, I was one of the first in line to bang my head against a table in despair.
All it really needs is anyone else other than the boyband they current have singing the theem toon.

I saw The Bluetones do a storming version of it at Glastonbury once...
Re: Minder on Five
Bet it was miles better than what they're using. Richie should have recorded it himself - or failing that, they should have just bitten the bullet and gone with Den's original version.Graymalkin wrote:I saw The Bluetones do a storming version of it at Glastonbury once...
