Did you get your law degree from the X Factor School of Judgy-Judgenessship?Patrick wrote:Objection Over-ruled. Now sit down and quietly lap up your saucer of milk.
You can't over-rule a call for recusion. YOU have to prove to US the citizens of the court, that you are fit and impartial enough to conduct this trial in a fair and balanced manner.
So prove it - Mr. Justice Gear-Grinder.
PS:
I'm also reporting you to the RSPCA for deliberate animal cruelty. Trying to force-feed milk to poor, little defenceless kitty's when you know cat's are lactose intolerant. Shame on you.
-And I can call a witness to back up your attempted cruelty...

Shows what you know- it was soy milk. Perfect for the lactose intolerant.
Now, can Stanmore please get on with his direct examination? I'd rather not have to find the T-squares in contempt.

oh - and don't think you can just ignore your obvious lack of balance. prove you're fit and fair and quaified to judge this case or RECUSE YOURSELF and get outta town.
you can't find us in contempt for pointing out your lack of balance and attempted animal cruelty. besides - who appointed you judge anyway? when this started you were only a clerk of court - suddenly you're in charge. I say you're a fake and petrol-headed impostor!Patrick wrote:Now, can Stanmore please get on with his direct examination? I'd rather not have to find the T-squares in contempt.

Re: Who On Trial: "The Chase"
The prosecutor has had a particularly s*** day - one in which his real-life job hangs by a thread (bloody mental Ulsterwomen with a hatred of incorrect data entry) - so I have had less time to collate evidence than I first anticipated. So, for the time being I'll start with exhibit A...
and, I will, in a more perhaps unheard of in legal history, the defence council to the witness box. I have a feeling that his testimony will be one of the most incriminating against The Chase.
And, because I probably won't be for 24 hours to see if I'm allowed to do this, here's my first question:-
Where were you on the nights of the crime...?

It's pointless asking Judge Jaundiced. He wouldn't recognise a legitimate legal point even if someone walked up and poked him in the eye with it.

Re: Who On Trial: "The Chase"
I'll interpret Defense counsel's question as an objection.
Stanmore, I have to question the relevance of this line of questioning: where was Defense counsel the night "The Chase" was transmitted? Unless you can establish a distinct relationship between the Defense counsel (who, in 1965, was little more than a Cyber-toddler at the time), and the production team who made the story, I fear your first line of attack is doomed to failure.
Objection sustained. Sorry about your bad day, though. Do you have another witness?

Re: Who On Trial: "The Chase"
As the Prosecuting Counsel seems unable to make any sort of case, I move for an immediate dismissal.

Re: Who On Trial: "The Chase"
Stanmore, I really must concur with Defense Counsel. If you are unable to present an argument in the next 24 hours, I will have to make a summary judgement in favor of the Defense.

That would be ex parte communication, Stanmore. However, 36 hours puts at Thursday, so I will declare the Court in recess until you are ready to proceed.
