Blake's 7 : The Good, The Bad and the Ugly.
So, the inevitable Blake's 7 thread starts here.
I loved Blake's 7 as a kid. It lost something after the Liberator was toasted, but it was still a great series. I hated the way it ended and I am looking forward to the new version on SKY.

No one as yet - Sky apparently commissioned a couple of scripts and have it in development, but there's been no news since that came out several months ago. Plus, that news didn't come from Sky, but from B7E/B7M/B7P/whatever they're called this week so don't hold your breath waiting for something to happen.barnaby salton wrote:there's a new version??

Blake's 7
Discovered this one last week and I've already watched through the first series. Bit brilliant isn't it. I've never seen such good characterisation on TV. Looking forward to the rest of it.
I hear they're going to remake it, I have a funny feeling it won't be good...

Just seen an episode by Robert Holmes... Best TV writer ever, without a doubt.

Got to the end. What a finale! That has to be the best TV ending ever.

Wondeful, wasn't it?
God, I remember an entire tv room full of female students salivating over Avon... *sigh*

I still remember watching the episode and being completely gobsmacked at the ending.. It remains awesome to this day.

I plastered that video over facebook last night. That is the best ending to anything ever at all.The Co=Ordinator wrote:I still remember watching the episode and being completely gobsmacked at the ending.. It remains awesome to this day.

And, of course, what you have to remember Youngster is that we didn't have even the vaguest inkling of what was to come. The build up was all about the return of Blake, not what would happen to him and the rest of the *gang*.

I can beleive that. I knew roughly what happened but it still suprised me. I have to be one of those people that says that Vila was just playing dead. He can't die!The Co=Ordinator wrote:And, of course, what you have to remember Youngster is that we didn't have even the vaguest inkling of what was to come.
