No. However the video features Bjork. I'm just wondering if the artist who designed the video is the same one who choreographed his classic 1979 Saturday Night Live performance as that also featured his head superimposed onto a puppet.

Re: NEW BOWIE SINGLE AND ALBUM!
Interesting, but I will reserve my judgement until I have heard the rest of the album.
Re: NEW BOWIE SINGLE AND ALBUM!
According to Tony Visconti, this is the quietest track on the album and the rest is really rock orientated.
On another note, I'm wondering if Bowie will include a reference to Ben Chatham in the lyrics since the new single references the Berlin period, Ben's favourite Bowie period.

Interesting. Bowie is one of the most versatile artists in the World. A solid Rock album from him can only be a good thing.sparacus wrote:According to Tony Visconti, this is the quietest track on the album and the rest is really rock orientated..
As to his question, "Where are we now?', the answer is obviously "In Berlin, herr Bowie." I find it interesting that the song constantly refers to Walking the Dead. The East Germans allowing pensioners to cross over into West Berlin, as they knew that they could only be a drain on the Capitalist system, as they no longer had any value to the DDR. i wonder if that was known as "Walking the Dead". So much for caring Communism being ethically superior to the Capitalist West.

I am a bit of a Lefty. OK, I am a lot of a Lefty. That does not stop me despising post-war Communism and all that it stood for. Thank God the wall did come down.Dave Webb wrote:The Browncoat Cat wrote:So much for caring Communism being ethically superior to the Capitalist West.

Cat, you took a David Bowie lyric and you created an ethically awful practice which you then attributed to Communism, and then used this as a stick to beat it with.
Seriously. If you don't already work for the Daily Mail, this is exactly the sort of reportage they're looking for.
