Re: what is the worst film you've ever seen?
The worst film I ever saw was Taps. Other than that - I dunno really.
Re: what is the worst film you've ever seen?
Either 'Freddy Got Fingered', 'Dude, Where's My Car?' or 'Attack of the Clones'.
I know, I know*, but none of them were my idea and each time I was (at the very least) drunk**...

Dante's Peak - f*** s***. A very funny moment, however, when the granny jumped out of the rowing boat into the lake of lava to save the rest of the family.

I watched Dude Where's My Car last year and I was quite impressed. It gets lost a bit towards the end, but it's full of ridiculous moments from two fantastic comic actors. I especially liked the bit where they walked into the strip joint and got a round of applause from the strippers.

attack of the clones was really terrible.
the only one of my five that i saw at the cinema was blame it on the bellboy. other cinematic disasters would include legends of the fall, hannibal and superman returns

I love that film. Absolutely adore it. It's brilliant. Especially Granny's swim in acid. She deserved it.

I like Taps. Not enough actual tap dancing to make it a true classic, but I remember a very good film with a good turn (as always) by Sean Penn.
I haven't seen it for over 20 years, though.

Re: what is the worst film you've ever seen?
There are lots of bad movies I've seen on late-night TV that I can't remember, plus the ones I've watched through the ironic filter of Mystery Science Theater 3000 (Cave Dwellers, Space Mutiny and Quest of the Delta Knights come to mind) but the stand-out, actually-paid-money-to-see-in-a-cinema bad movie classic has to be Boxing Helena. There's something truly great about an entire cinema wee itself laughing at what's meant to be a dramatic and shocking moment.
Re: what is the worst film you've ever seen?
Some that immediately come to mind: "Highlander 2", "Superman IV", "Batman and Robin", "Zardoz" and "Freejack". I'll mention "Catwoman", even though I've never actually sat through more than 10 minutes of it.

Indeed, I've left off the typical MST3K fodder but Manos does deserve a mention.Nick Barlow wrote:There are lots of bad movies I've seen on late-night TV that I can't remember, plus the ones I've watched through the ironic filter of Mystery Science Theater 3000 (Cave Dwellers, Space Mutiny and Quest of the Delta Knights come to mind) but the stand-out, actually-paid-money-to-see-in-a-cinema bad movie classic has to be Boxing Helena. Forest Gump. Okay, there are technically worse made films, but none of them make me want to hit disabled people.

Re: what is the worst film you've ever seen?
I love the Asylum blockbuster ripoffs as the producers obviously have no shame. There's a 'Hills Have Eyes' one in which you can clearly hear the director say 'lick the plate'. Marvellous.

Mall Cop.
I saw it on a plane earlier this year and afterwards realised that looking at the map for an hour and a half would have been more mentally stimulating.

Any movie with Christian Clavier
I'm pretty sure there are worse but my brain must have deleted the memory of it into save the little sanity I have left. ^^
