Re: The Reading Room Writers' Coffee Bar
I think I'd need to read more about it before I could commit. Why not start a thread, explaining your idea? Explain how it works. I'm sure that will generate some interest.

Hello Dave (yes I know you and yes you were at my BBQ yesterday but this an internet hello)
As I've said before I'm too busy to actually write but I'd be happy to advise, edit or do anything else that helps with this series

Re: The Reading Room Writers' Coffee Bar
The coffee bar is for general chat about writing in general. If you want to start a thread for reviews discussion then go ahead, it'd be a good idea

The final 2 stories of Hunted series 1, both written by me, have gone online over on GB. All comments would be much appriciated. I shall be re-posting them over here with the rest of the series soon...

Re: The Reading Room Writers' Coffee Bar
I think it's worth mentioning this (possibly again):
If you're interested in being paid for writing, there are a couple of microfiction markets on Twitter. The one I'm having most success with is Tweet The Meat - I've now sold three 140 character stories to them this year.
The reasons I'm shilling them here are:
1) They pay. A dollar. It's not much, but if you're looking to write seriously, it counts as a Paid Writing Credit, which will eventually add up to helping you get an agent.
2) They have recently asked for additional rights - they already want first digital rights (the first time the piece appears online anywhere it is through them) and they now want non-exclusive Print Anthology rights.
It's worth going to their Blog and reading the submission guidelines carefully, in case this is something you might want to try.

Quite right, so you should.
In case anyone else had their curiosity piqued, this week's theme is "fetish".
Grab a dictionary, because it's got more than one meaning and the editors like it when writers think outside the box.
Re: The Reading Room Writers' Coffee Bar
I've started posting my latest script from my fanfic series 'Hunted' it's a total of 19 episodes long and I'll hopefully be posting 2 episodes a week. I hope you all enjoy
