Re: The Gaming Thread
Amazingly enough I've just today got hold of the Quantum of Solace game for the PS2. I shall report as soon as I've had a chance to have a play with it.

Let me know. I'm considering getting that for the Wii.
I'm currently (and have been for the past 3 months) addicted to guitar hero. A brilliant game with a really brilliant soundtrack.

I'll certainly let you know. I'm still fighting away at God of War III on the PS2 - have been for ages along with Justice League: Heroes...which is stupidly fun for an old comic fan like me.Johnstone wrote:Let me know. I'm considering getting that for the Wii.

While not a massive comic fan I like the comic games. X-Men legends II is fantastic.

Re: The Gaming Thread
Definately worth playing. You get to arrange your own team of characters from both the X-Men and the Brotherhood. I like games with multiple characters helping each other as a team. I still say that Star Wars Battlefront is the best thing ever to hit a console.

Re: The Gaming Thread
In that case you'd enjoy Justice League: Heroes. It's pretty straightforward play-wise, but the teaming of the JLA members is fun. Batman/Superman, Flash/Green Lantern Zatanna/Martian Manhunter, etc, etc... definitely fun.

I'll give JL a try sometime, always thought it looked good.
My sister's just bought Wii Play and I have to admit it's addictive. Lots of mini games.

Get a wii Sid, it's brilliant. I was sceptical at first but I haven't been near my PS2 since I got it.

I have to admit, I'm a very big Nintendo fan at the moment. I think the DS is great too. But no

Re: The Gaming Thread
Just spent a vaguely enjoyable half hour being (well, actually pretending to be), Daniel Craig in the Quantum of Solace game. So far it's enjoyable enough as movie tie-ins go. But I really, really do hate "race against the clock "sections - I simply don't have the finger dexterity any more.

Re: The Gaming Thread
I hate time limits.
The Italian Job: LA Heist is a great game but every level has a pointless and near enough impossible to beat time limit.

Re: The Gaming Thread
I'm chasing a baddie on this time limit level. Through sewers and over rooftops with henchmen jumping out to shoot me. It's bloody near impossible - especially since there's no indication on just how much time you have to do it in!Johnstone wrote:I hate time limits.
