Top Tens (ish) of the Decade. Empty Top Tens (ish) of the Decade.

I've been trying to narrow my year-end list into a top-ten, and it's really very tricky. So when I was asked what my top-ten of 'the noughties' (Jeesy Chreesy, I hate that!) 2000-2009 was (yeah, I like lists, I know...) I thought that would be a lot more easy. And it was quite easy - the list jumped straight into my head (meaning I'll have missed something really obvious). And was twelve long. And I can't really bring myself to lose any of them. And I've already cheated a bit on number two, but, I feel, with a deal of justification - they're so heavily linked you now can't buy one without the other. So, with those caveats firmly in mind, my list is...

Dozen of the Decade

01) Lambchop - Is a Woman
02) Okkervil River - Black Sheep Boy/Black Sheep Boy Appendix
03) Okkervil River - The Stage Names
04) The Strokes - Is This It
05) Dead Man’s Bones - Dead Man’s Bones
06) Arcade Fire - Funeral
07) British Sea Power - The Decline of British Sea Power
08) Edgar ‘Jones’ Jones - Gettin’ a Little Help from the Joneses
09) Goldfrapp - Seventh Tree
10) Silver Jews - Tanglewood Numbers
11) Radiohead - Kid A
12) Smog - A River Ain’t Too Much to Love

Anyone else?
