If you could ask Santa for some shiny shiny gadgety technological wonder for Christmas, what would it be?

I'm going to invest in a netbook - mostly cos my lappie just doesn't cut it anymore - it's 4 years old now - but I really, really want an iPod touch... so shiny...

I believe Kate has obtained these for you, but sadly your limited perceptual skills mean you'll think that they're a frying pan being battered against your skull.

I think one of these
- rather than an iPhone, but it's a close run thing.

I need a new watch, and this is a bit Captain Jack, but sufficiently un-watchlike for my purposes.

I would like a set of these lovely itemsfor the kitchen.

One of these to improve my typing.

And I wants me a laptop, but no more Windows for me. A decent piece of kit I can park Ubuntu on, or something. Anyone got any suggestions?

the drive partition on which I have my itunes itunes music folder is full affraid As a temporary measure I have copied the whole lot lock stock and barrel across to my (unpartitioned) 400GB backup drive - but that's not a long term solution because now I have nowhere to back up. So, I'm buying yet another external hard disc. I won't be waiting till Xmas though! I think I'll shell out for a TB because although i would be cheaper to get a 550GB now and then a 500 GB in 6 months time, itunes (as far as I can tell) requires everything to be on the one drive. Extremely annoying.
