Lots of lucky, lucky people over in the states who took the chance and filled in the request form in December are now enjoying their free, matt screened, 9 hour battery life, Google netbook running Chrome OS.

Now, I hear that Google will in due course be offering us in the UK and the rest of Europe the chance to apply for one of theses too. Will anybody here be taking a punt on getting lucky besides me when they do?
