- Spoiler:
- Oh, that will be a cause for much
teeth gnashingcelebration in many quarters. I'm guessing it's more than a fare bet that Moffat himself penned the sketch?

Re: Doctor Who sketch for Comic Relief 2011
Id have thought that Moffat has penned this as part of an agreement he reached with Richard Curtis some time ago.

I rather enjoyed those. Vaguely reminds one of all those times when the Doctor's and the the Master's TARDISes were got intertwined- but without the rubbish beard.

Re: Doctor Who sketch for Comic Relief 2011
Where does Lucy Saxon come into it?
FWIW, I thought the sketches were ok but no better. Not a patch on Time Crash or Pusdey Cutaway. Or The Curse of Fatal Death - obviously!
Should we have a poll for people's favourite Telethon story?

Re: Doctor Who sketch for Comic Relief 2011
I liked them, a bit of lighthearted paradoxal fun. And a good use of an inexpensive "effect", the TARDIS within the TARDIS. The furor I've seen raised over it elsewhere seems entirely silly to me.
Could do. Why not?The Co=Ordinator wrote:Should we have a poll for people's favourite Telethon story?

I agree, why not have a poll?
For me, these were just cute little vignettes that didn't take themselves too seriously. Just good fun.

Re: Doctor Who sketch for Comic Relief 2011
Felt like a rehash of Time Crash to me - and I recall the idea of the TARDIS landing inside itself was a unfilmed season 18 story by Christopher Priest.
Nothing more than OK, though the 'joke' about Amy only passing her driving test because she'd worn a short skirt felt like it had wandered in from the 1970s.

Re: Doctor Who sketch for Comic Relief 2011
An entertaining bit of silliness, but probably not one that I would necessarily bother to watch again.
I think Moffat should attempt an full story-length Doctor Who spin on a 70s Robin Asquith film. A Mad Man in a Box is all nice and poetic and that, but Confessions of a Mad Man in a Box is beautiful.

I rather enjoyed it myself too. Not Time Crash standard but a fun way to pass the time. Interestingly, the Hatchling and his dad absolutely loved it - mainly due to Karen's performance. Which is the first time either of them have ever had anything good to say about the Pond.
