Ood have thought it, we're at episode 8 of series 2 already. Impossible, improbable or quite likely?

Open for 2 weeks as usual!

The Doctor: Oh come on! Did you have to? "No turning back". That's almost as bad as "Nothing could possibly go wrong", or "This is gonna be the best Christmas Walford's ever had"!

I liked this one a lot. Gabriel Woolf, such a fantastic voice. Good cast, interesting setting, great dialogue, Ood and properly spooky to boot. 4/5 from me. .

Thinking about it, that "don't turn around, Toby" bit was the scariest thing in Doctor Who ever.

There's much to commend this episode, including the introduction of the Ood. It's sort of between a 4 and a 5, but I'm feeling kind this morning so will go for the latter. Smile

I can't add much to what's been said previously. From the moment the Ood are introduced, to Sutekh's Satan's voice calling Rose's cell phone, to the everpresent black hole spinning around just above the confined area of this sanctuary base, this story was good and properly creepy.

I think this where the common sentiment found its roots that second two-part story of a new series of Doctor Who is going to be better than first two-part story. 5/5 for me.
