Online and Web Comics
Sometimes the online comics are actually better than the paper stuff, and have a more general appeal. In my various Web based wanderings, these are my favourites.
Note: they've been running a while, but the joy of them is that it's easy to archive web pages, so you can go right to Number One and read the whole run. That might be a tall order, but if you're ill and have nothing better to do, it's a great way to kill some time.
The Order of the Stick
- deliberately basic art, roleplaying jokes and general humour.
Sluggy Freelance
- a web comic that has become a sense of humour all it's own. Hard to describe or categorise, find number one and work your way forward.
User Friendly
- a geeky webcomic about the trials and tribulations of a bunch of geeks working for an ISP. You don't need to be computer literate to enjoy it, but it sure helps. Also has a massive community following, and most of them are pretty friendly. Be warned, though, here be jokes about technology and Unix.
Rich's Comic Blog
- the lair of an artist who is currently doing a "Ten Doctors" story, some of which has been utter brilliance. He does other stuff too, so don't expect to see a new Who strip every time you check the page. Good art, too.
There. Add your favorites, discuss them, or the above, and enjoy.

Re: Online and Web Comics
Order of the Stick has already been mentioned, so I just have to add
Girl Genius - epic steampunk comedy/adventure/romance,
and
Doctor McNinja - started off as an in-joke on the Something Awful forums before taking on a life of its own, and is some of the funniest ongoing material I've read on the web.

Re: Online and Web Comics
Yep, I'm still following Rich's "Ten Doctors" comic. He's been putting up pages with more frequency of late and the story's moving along nicely.

I've been keeping a weathered eye on the Ten Doctor's as well. I'll also be checking out Doc_Occ's list as the week progresses.

So ends the "The 10 Doctors". A nice conclusion. I look forward to his next story.

Page 1 of which is up. Forever Janette it's called. Seems to be a crossover with the old “Forever Knight” TV series.Zoltar wrote:I look forward to his next story.

Re: Online and Web Comics
I used to follow lots of web comics, Sluggy Freelance being the main one, but also Superosity, and... yikes, I can't remember any of the other titles. I went offline for a few months, years ago, and didn't bother catching up again when I got back online. Some months ago I drifted back to Sluggy again and read about a year's worth of backlog, so put it back in my bookmarks in order to follow it regularly again... and haven't been back since.
Fairly recently I discovered Second Empire, which is about Daleks, and is pretty good. It has a sense of humour!

Re: Online and Web Comics
Order of the Stick, while I've already mentioned it above, has become pretty much unmissable lately.
