I love this piece of music. It's catchy to the point of insanity, and its occasional fanfares are great. If it is the Doctor's theme, then that makes me very happy indeed.

I'm quite pleased with that tune, too. Three cheers for Murray Gold! He makes the music as much fun as the stories itself!

It is wonderful (it and the "other" fan channel, the "unreleased" cues, might find a temporary spot on my iPod. For analysis purposes ).
But, y'all, do note that Murray Gold has said on Twitter that the upload's *not* from him, and he's not connected to that userid. (The YouTube user making the work on your link sometimes implies that it/he is. )

That's the 7-beat in 2-2-3. Ruchenitsas are marvellous things. Compelling dance rhythms...Exterminieren wrote:I love this piece of music. It's catchy to the point of insanity,
It's the Doctor's 2010 "action" theme. Which implies/allows/whatever (for) more themes supporting other moods, of course. If it is the Doctor's theme, then that makes me very happy indeed.

It's now apparently been removed.

That's a shame. The Ninja susbcribes to the guy and he does some great mixes of various versions of the theme. The upload was done purely out of love and enthusiasm.

Re: Every star, every planet - the music
Sorry, I disagree. From what I saw, the guy was *just about* impersonating Murray Gold, and that kinda crosses a line for me. (I mean, he was both using his biographical info for the account, and answering some viewer comments/questions as if he were the composer.)The Co=Ordinator wrote:The upload was done purely out of love and enthusiasm.
Maybe for y'all it'd be okay if someone represented himself to commenters as, say, Adam Smith (the Eleventh Hour director, right?) while distributing the episode online. But the idea's still negative from my POV--there's something more than "enthusiasm" going on. (Folks don't last long impersonating RTD, Moffat, David Tennant, or Matt Smith--but that doesn't stop them from continually trying on Twitter/Facebook/etc...)
And no, I didn't report him to YouTube, weren't me.
