I've just come from seeing The Avengers (although I think it's got another name in the UK, owing to a nearly 50 year old television series.)

In a word: brilliant. I give it five Shwarma plates out of a possible five. If you have not yet seen it, reserve two and half hours and be prepared to lose yourself in the fun.

I saw Avengers on the release night. The whole cinema cheered and laughed at the proper moments. It was a great experience, it was a great film.

What did you think of meeting between Loki and Hulk? Cripes, that made my bottom jaw fall open.

Oh yes, when that happened I heard the first round of applause in a cinema since that ferret save Beastmaster.
