Rate "The Ark"

Big scale. big ideas. Monoids. But beware the common cold! Your thoughts on The Ark please.

i've seen it a few times but have no memory of doing so. gonna go 2 for that reason

If you have no memory, how do you know you've seen it?

I love that it looks like a two-parter, but then turns into a four-parter. That's really clever, but it is let down by some of the performances. I'd give it a four though - there is an elephant in it.

It's another incredibly bold piece of television, and another of those I have strong memories of from childhood. 4/5 for me.

I rather liked this one, essentially two stories linked by virtue of a common setting. 4/5.

Big, imaginative, unusual.... abysmally performed. 3/5

But surely The Ark is much more than that Patrick? It's the juxtaposition of Man ruler/Monoid slave against Monoid ruler/Man slave.

Ten million years in the future? Does this mean that RTD's humans as heads as Toclafane is non-canon?

Utopia is set in 100 Trillion AD. I'm certain there's a way that both stories can be set within the same universe...
