The Doctor makes a return visit to the Earth Federation in the far future, and as he and Jo arrive, discover that the Federation is on the brink of war with a rival empire controlled by the Draconians.  But as events unfold, it becomes clear that someone is attempting to inflame tensions between the two great space-fairing races.  Even as the culprit is revealed to be the Doctor's arch nemesis, the Master, both the Doctor and Jo face a new problem when he has them framed as Draconian spies.  So why is the Master somehow collaborating with Ograns?  Ograns?  That would mean... nah, couldn't be that.

So what did you think of Frontier in Space?

I have to say I think this is technically a better story than the one which follows it. How can you not enjoy seeing Roger Delgado and Jon Pertwee chewing their way through a scene? But there's still something kind of predictable about this story. Because of that, I give it 3/5.

Plods along, but the twist with the Daleks appearing is great - even though the Ogrons were a clear signpost (they're long overdue a return btw!). 3/5.

Wasn't this also Roger Delgado's last performance?
