Rate "Image Of The Fendahl"

The activation of a time-scanner draws the Doctor, Leela and K9 to Earth, where they discover a group of scientists has uncovered an ancient skull.  It transpires that the skull is actually that of a Fendahl, a creature which thrives on death, and which was supposed to have utterly destroyed by the Time Lords.  The Doctor's main concern is simply getting rid of the skull, but a larger problem soon makes itself known when Thea Ransome, one of the scientific team studying the skull, is converted into a Fendahl and begins creating deadly little snake-like Fendahline as her minions to spread her message of death across the world.

Slithery stuff, or hiss-terical nonsense?  What did you think of Image Of The Fendahl?

I like this a lot. And it has some terribly grim elements, especially Stael's suicide. A top end 4/5 for me.

I quite like this one, too. In fact, this is yet another example of how this season of Who was feast or famine. Sandwiched in between Horror of Fang Rock and this story was a rather sub-par adventure featuring a mutated shrimp as the villain. And then we get to the story that follows this...

Anyway, Fendahl gets a 4/5 from me as well.
