The MUSE Thread
I think that the best band in the last 10 years deserve their own thread. And here it is. I think that Muse are the most innovative band ever and shuld be listened to properly before comment is passed.

I think that every band ever should be listened to properly before comments like that are passed.
But if they make you happy, Johnstone, then good luck to 'em. As they* say, that's why restaurants have menus...
*Who's 'they'? The reptile-men?
Re: The MUSE Thread
How properly is "properly"? My ex-girlfriend used to have Origin of Symmetry on a loop... but she was a reptile-man...

Hey, a thread for my favourite band. Huzzah!*
So, best album? It's Absolution for me.

Re: The MUSE Thread
I love Muse... I keep missing them though - they were the secret band at street music festival in Liverpool - I walked right past just before they were about to play... d'oh!

Same thing happened in Australia - Muse rocked up two weeks after I left for the UK....
I am doomed to never see them live... *sigh*

Re: The MUSE Thread
I saw Muse at Glastonbury waaaay back in 2000, before they were big, and before, evidently, they'd perfected their allegedly amazing stage show, and seemingly before they'd even perfected their songs or their character as a band. They were dull, the music was limp and lifeless, and they all stood stock still. That put me off them for years and years but finally got that album with the Pink Floyd bloke cover and quite liked it, and the other album with the pylons or whatever on the cover.
