Coming soon (probably straight to DVD). What must surely be the greatest movie of all time.

I'm sorry, C=O, but any movie featuring a giant shark is not complete without John Barrowman.

I've yet to see the infamous Barrowman film. Some day it'll happen.

Starring the finest actress of our times, Debbie Gibson...
Yeah, I read about this on the DWF. Definitely a candidate for MST3K treatment.

Re: Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus
On the title alone, I want to see that. The trailer, and the fact it features Lorenzo 'Renegade' Lamas and Deborah 'When did she become an actress?' Gibson is just the icing on the fantastic-title cake.
But yes, a Barrowman cameo - and some version of The Line - is required to make it 10/10 awesome.

Re: Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus
So, is 'mega' bigger than 'giant', or is 'giant' bigger than 'mega'?
The title is very imprecise. 0/10 uncool.

Re: Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus
it looks amazingly good- lorenzo lamas is a fine actor and "renegade" was a late night classic.
but i think this may trump it.

Well, in this case, I'd say "mega" means "giant" and "giant" means "mega".Lucy McGough wrote:So, is 'mega' bigger than 'giant', or is 'giant' bigger than 'mega'?

I'm still wondering why they couldn't work the newest word in the English language into that title: "Ginormous." Why couldn't we have a ginormous octopus?

Anti-ginormous prejudice?
Me, I'm holding out for gargantuan, titanic or just plain huge.

Re: Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus
If I owned a movie studio, I'd greenlight that right now, based solely on the title.Zoltar wrote:Revenge of the Atomic Crocodile.
Re: Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus
I get the feeling Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus had a similar origin. The plot (for lack of a better word) was probably sketched out on cocktail napkins.Nick Barlow wrote:If I owned a movie studio, I'd greenlight that right now, based solely on the title.Zoltar wrote:Revenge of the Atomic Crocodile.

Re: Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus
Good title, Asylum Film....I have seen it and it is absolutely f*****g terrible.......and not even in a 'so bad it's good' kinda way.
Trust me.....the CGI looks like early 1980s and it will rob your life of 90 minutes.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!

Woolies used to sell Asylum produced films for around £3, which was about right I thought.
