New Style Dalek Bubble Bath
I forgot to mention yesterday that due to the thoughtfulness of the Hatchling, I now have a new addition to the ranks of my Dalek army. Here it is:
We found it while we were out shopping for a tank for Blub. They were reduced to £2.99 so Elliot, using his own pocket money, insisted on buying one each for both of us. Nothings changed about how we both feel about the inadvisability of the design changes; but hey, it's a Dalek to add to the collections - so who were we to resist!

Re: New Style Dalek Bubble Bath
Well, it makes rather a good bubble bath container. Better than it seemed to make as a fearsome enemy anyway. Perhaps they will grow on us? Or perhaps not..
And what a kind and thoughtful* Hatchling to look after his elderly relative with such a treat - especially when he had already been lumbered with the job of keeping an eye on the old Eocene and generally keeping him out of trouble, as he went on his little shopping trip. At least, I assume that was what the young one was doing.

This bit I actually mean... it is kind and thoughtful.

Re: New Style Dalek Bubble Bath
yes, I have to agree they do make a rather impressive bubble bath container. Hmmm..perhaps they can finally get the Doctor using that stratagy - smuggle one of themselves into the TARDIS and zap the Doctor while he's enjoying a nice relaxing soak in the bath.
And absolutely agreed - it was very thoughtful of the Hatchling.

Does it scream "EXFOLIATE! EXFOLIATE!"?

Re: New Style Dalek Bubble Bath
It doesn't scream anything, unfortunately. It was only £2.99 remember.

I'd have to agree with that, C=O. They also had a red "Dalek Desk Sentry" for a tenner which i had to forcibly restrain both myself and the Hatchling from picking up too.

Not screaming anything seems a point in its favour. After all, how much dozing in a nice, hot bath could be done with a Dalek screaming in your ear?Sid Seadevil wrote:It doesn't scream anything, unfortunately. It was only £2.99 remember.

Excellent point! Although I suspect that it wouldn't be that difficult to add a voice chip to it.andrea wrote:Not screaming anything seems a point in its favour. After all, how much dozing in a nice, hot bath could be done with a Dalek screaming in your ear?
Hmmmm...where's my old, worn out Dalek slippers that scream "Exterminate!"?
*wanders off armed with a sharp knife to look for them in order to remove the voice chip...*
