How do you rate Torchwood: Children of Earth?
Re: Rate "Torchwood - Children of Earth"
Dave,
I've heard rumors of a possible Torchwood Series 4 at Keith 'Telly' Topping's blog, but I've not seen anything formally confirmed.

Re: Rate "Torchwood - Children of Earth"
Of course, I realise now,the BAFTAS we just saw at weekend were evidently the film ones, and the TV BAFTAS come later in the year.. As said, let's hope the awards come to TW CofEarth, as they are thoroughly deserved.. I have watched all 5 eps on DVD more times than I can count now, and I am still amazed by the quality of this miniseries.. As for the fate of the show, like others, I have seen various rumours in print, but nothing concrete.. The last one I saw suggested it was going to be taken over as an Americanised animated comic strip available only on the net, but I stress it is no more than rumour.. I hope TW does come back, and in a form that the fans will enjoy.. We'll have to wait and see I guess..

"Children of Earth"
John the Vic wrote:Well! I would like to know what happened to Peter Capaldi's BAFTA! Yes, that's right, he didn't get one.. Indeed, Children of Earth got nothing at all.. Something is sorely amiss me thinks...
The reason "Children of Earth" did not get all the Awards under the sun is quite simple: It was far too good, far too clever, far too brilliant for the average member of the public to appreciate. We, fans, are of course way above average......
P.S.: I hate these dark Boards!! It's a strain of the eyes and gives me a headache!

I wasn't around here to have my say when the show was actually on the air. So I'm making up for it now.

Elliot, the one thing we've learned over the years about your Uncle Sid is that he can't stand not to have the last word, regardless of the subject.

This is not quite up to your usual "I'm posting just so I can have the last word" standards, Sid.

You must inform me in what alternate universe there's a Sidney Q. Seadevil who never, ever gets to have the last word on anything. It sounds like a lovely place to visit.
