Series 6 Build Up (Was First official trailer for Series 6)

As I don't have the time to go through all 1440 frames individually has the collected wisdom of fandom spotted anything to get speculatively over-excited about? There's the obvious 'Hugh Bonneville is the Black Guardian's son in a remake of Enlightenment' one, but I'm hoping more for the 'there's a blurred figure in the background of one frame that's clearly Paul McGann' style speculation...

An appearance by the previous console room? Sweet.

Shall we do a sweepstake on how many times Amy's going to be horrible to Rory? I'm going to go for 44 times.

Honestly, I can't believe this idea hasn't occurred to anyone yet: make a drinking game out of it. Every time Amy is horrible to Rory, take a good strong pull on whatever sparkling adult beverage you have. Everytime River does something annoying, take a good strong pull. Then, the next morning, see how much of the episode you can recall from memory. If it's more than 50% gone, you have your rating.

Lee old chap, I more than certainly still like - nay, make that love Doctor Who. And I'm certainly sure I'm far from alone in feeling that way in Wrinklydom. That doesn't mean for a moment that I'm averse to taking an affectionate poke at it in all its myriad forms every now and again - as in this instance.

After all if we, the fans, can't have a gentle giggle at some aspects of the series whether classic or new then who can? Besides, surely by poking fun at such things we're ultimately also poking fun at ourselves and our own foibles in the process.

I don't like Doctor Who, I love it and have for many years, just like everyone else here. Doesn't make it into a sacred cow immune to a little humor or criticism.

Fair enough. Many companion characters have divided fandom in the past though, that doesn't mean people who mock Adric or don't like Rose no longer like Doctor Who.
