Re: Rate "The Sound of Drums"
Sorry, C=O, I didn't realize you'd posted this yet.
I thought the Sound of Drums had a lot to recommend it- the Doctor's arch-Time Lord nemesis, not only revived, but living at No. 10 Downing Street. Martha's family is systematically rounded up and held, and the Doctor, Martha and Jack are on the run, doing their best not to get noticed.
But layered into that, Martha's unrequited love for the Doctor is laid bare when Jack expresses he feels the same as she does, and we actually get a glimpse of Gallifrey and what may have made the Master the way he is.
I really like this story- not as good as Utopia, but still a strong 4/5.

Somehow I missed this one as well. Solid episode, I'd give it a 4/5.

4/5 from me also. Not quite good enough for top marks.
