A bus trip across the radiation scorched surface of the planet Midnight, a planet which cannot support any life. The problems begin when the bus breaks down, and the knocking begins. Sky Silvestry begins repeating- right down to the value of Pi. Allons-y. Multo bene. And the un-named stewardess who saves the day.
So what did you think of Midnight? Here's your chance to have your say.

Well, I love the Twilight Zone and, in many ways, this felt like an episode of that. The writing was sharp, the atmosphere increasingly creepy and the performances excellent. Tennant was in top form here, in my opinion. The terror on his face as the Midnight creature usurped him and he was helplessly about to die was riveting to watch. While I have absolutely nothing against monsters that have their scares enhanced by special effects, it's really enjoyable sometimes to see something be horrible without them.
5/5.

Zolty- please don't do that repeating thing. To this day that still creeps me out.
I completely agree with you about the Twilight Zone vibe of the story. Psychological thrillers are one of my favorite genres, and Doctor Who dies it all too infrequently. I flat out loved this story and it gets an unreserved 5/5 from me.

A superb piece of television drama that reminded me of classic examples of The Wednesday Play or Play for Today. 5/5.

This is a beautiful piece of television drama. Wonderful acting from all involved. Brilliant sets and props. Superb use of sound and music. It just does not get any better than this.
Sadly, as the I Ching teaches, once you get to the pinnacle, the only way to go is down. From this point onwards, the RTD Era ran out of steam.

On the contrary, it's only worth a 4/5, spoiling what would have been a run of 7 5/5 episodes. Much better stories before and after.
