Rate: The Ambassadors Of Death

Spacecraft Recovery-7 has just returned from its mission: the first manned vehicle to go to Mars and return.  But who are the three astronauts on board?  The Doctor quickly deduces that the original astronauts must have made contact with an alien force, but further investigations are forestalled when the three aliens wearing astronaut suits are kidnapped... by someone who knows them of old.

So, what did you think of "The Ambassadors Of Death"?

For me the padding in Ambassadors is far worse than the preceding story. Starts well, but goes round in circles for too long. 3/5 for me.

I agree with you, C=O, this episode does seem to wander around quite a bit. I remember the first time I saw it, those astronaut suits with aliens inside them was very disturbing. But my abiding memory of that first viewing was "can't we just get on with the story"?
