The planet Exxilon becomes the unexpected location of two crash landings.  One involves a team of humans, the other, a ship full of Daleks.  Both have journeyed to Exxilon in search if the rare mineral parrinium, needed to cure a plague which is raging throughout civilized worlds all over the galaxy.  And then the Doctor and Sarah Jane arrive on Exxilon by mistake, and the Doctor discovers that both the human and Dalek landing parties have been strangely afflicted by a loss of power.  As this means the Dalek's guns won't work, the pepperpots become strangely cooperative.  But these are still Daleks, and as they come to eventually show their true colors, the Doctor must brave the lost city of the Exxilons to deliver the parrinium into its rightful hands.

So, midway through season 11.  What did you think of Death To The Daleks?

Not a lot to be honest. One of my least favourite Dalek stories because;

a) they look crap and
b) they don't work without the ability to exterminate

2/5.

I thought the premise of Daleks being put in the same position as humans was intriguing... at first. It got old in a hurry though. And I have to say that the Exxilon city seemed to be essentially one corridor chamber after another. Did the city not have rooms? Homes? Shops or Fora?
