[Not to be confused with 1969's "The Seeds Of Death"]
An Antarctic expedition discovers two mysterious organic seed pods. The Doctor is brought in to investigate and recognizes them as Krynoids, which, when germinated, require a host in order to manifest themselves as giant, carnivorous plants. Humans would do very nicely in that regard. The Doctor and Sarah Jane succeed in destroying one of the two seed pods. But the other is stolen by an uber-rich, delusional manipulator named Harrison Chase. And Mr. Chase's favorite hobby happens to be botany. In fact, Mr. Chase intends to use his pilfered Krynoid seed pod to facilitate plants taking over the world and wiping animals out.
So what did you think of the story that ended Season 13? Did "Seeds" come up roses, or does it remain a thorny issue? C'mon, let's hear your thoughts.

Re: Rate "The Seeds Of Doom"
I stick with what I wrote in an issue of Celestial Toyroom. This story was two episodes longer than it needed to be, and at certain points, that just became painfully obvious with the repeated visitations to Chase's conservatory, and the walks along the grounds of the Chase estate. And the use of the defoliant to resolve the whole thing was the obvious solution, so why didn't they do it at the end of episode 4?
I can't give this more than 3/5.
