The Three Wise Men have been removed. If there is somewhere else the song is played in full, I will be there...

God, two posts nowadays!

When Inspiral Carpets - This Is How It Feels comes on and they sing "this is how they feel to be lonely, this is how it feels to be small, this is how it feels when your world means nothing at all!", I think "what, it feels absolutely fantastic? Give me some of that loneliness, smallness and nothingness please, if it gives that feeling of that joy of the organ, power of the drums and the brilliance of a crazy singalong."

Plus, it contains a Dalek, briefly, in the video.

Hoorah! That's fab! Very Happy I've got King Crimson straight onto my Christmas list, and My Life Story pushing it too, as well as a few others. Smile Today's choice from me is some sexy Trip-Hop.

They haven't, you know - and Associates have one too! But it seems churlish to point that (and the De La Soul title) out when you've put so much work into the list. And what a brilliant idea for a thread it is - I've certainly got a few new bands to check out from it. Hope you enjoy Smog (or (Smog), depending on the album) - they're (he's) one of my fave raves. His last album was ace, and that's recorded under his real name, Bill Callahan.

Anyway, having got back from some rare delight in Manchester town, it's...

Cracking job by both Stanmore and Nick!

And, something a little bit different today. I've been wanting to put something up by these guys, as I've seen their live DVD and they're fantastic, and I wasn't sure what - but they're far better instrumentalists than they are as singers, so:

The Ukelele Orchestra of Great Britain - The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
