Agreed with spara but it had too many clunkers so 4/5 from me.

Re: Rate the Letts era
I had to say 5/5. I know there are some bad episodes in that era, but the majority were excellent or at least good, and I know the story's backwards and forwards thanks to a child's obsession and a video player, so there's that factor to.

I love it, absolutely love it. Second only to the brilliant Hinchcliffe era, IMO. It's the first era I watched as a kid, and I consider myself very lucky to have it as my introduction to the series: great Doctor, great monsters, great stories, the Delgado Master, The Brigadier, UNIT, Jo Grant and Sarah Jane Smith. What more could a child ask for?

Re: Rate the Letts era
It's okay, on the whole, but it does have a certain... oh God, I can't believe I'm actually going to say this... charm that lifts it above the sum of it's parts. It's always watchable and entertaining, even when you know it should be being boring...
Can't stand Jo Grant, though.
