Well, Well Well it appears, despite fan claims, that NBC didn't change Wonder Woman's costume in response widespread criticism. Instead, Adrianne Palicki's Amazon Princess will spot three variant costume looks in David E. Kelley's pilot; including one with shorts.

Additional titbits:
The pilot wraps filming tonight. It's been confirmed that the special visual effects will be produced by non other than George Lucas' very own illustrious Industrial Light and Magic.

Perhaps if it goes to a series then there will be a Supergirl-short mini skirt version as well. I can but hope.

I wouldn't put it past them, Cat. Nor would I complain either.

Oh dear, it looks as if NBC have decided that they are not going to go into production of a series of Wonder Woman and it is no doubtful if they will even broadcast the pilot. Ho hum.
Re: NBC Green Light Pilot for "Wonder Woman" from David E. Kelly
Yep, that's pretty much it for the project I think. Especially since it was passed on by the other major networks even before the Peacock decided to give it a nibble.
I suppose there's always the outside chance that one of the cable networks might pick it up - but that's so slim as to be little more than wishful thinking.
Too bad.

Oh dear - so what I posted 3 months ago has likely proven to be the case.

From what I can gather the final shooting script - indeed according to the editors of the pilot themselves - was much, much better and the cut they made was very good. Then for some inexplicable reason Kelley decided some reshooting was in order which resulted in some extra scenes being shoe-horned in that considerably reduced the finished product's overall effectiveness. The Co=Ordinator wrote:Oh dear - so what I posted 3 months ago has likely proven to be the case. The Co=Ordinator wrote:Someone I know has read the script for the pilot and describes it as "diabolical".
Go figure what was running through his mind.

Most of the clips have now been deleted, for some reason.
To be honest, guys, I could not get used to the idea of anyone other than Linda Carter being WonderWoman.

I can think of worse reasons to bump a thread than bringing up that photo again.
