1. The sketch was jolly good fun. Who wrote it?
2. 'Waterloo Road' is unmitigated crap. Only P.E. and Secretarial Studies teachers watch it. Who the heck voted for it?

Well said. That's what Outpost Waterloo was created for, for honest rants such as this.Patrick wrote:That's the last straw! The British National Television Awards, the obvious deciders of all things tasteful and worthy, sees fit not to award Doctor... whatshisname... an award, and this should serve as proof that the team making the show should be ousted immediately! I mean, what's the point of a show that can't even win a great big shiny statuette?
And, to add insult to injury, they give us this risible, daft clip. I mean, where does it fit in? Is it between Sarah Jane Adventures' "Death of the Doctor" and "A Christmas Carol?" Or is it between Christmas Carol and Series 6? Amanda Holden in charge of things... HA! Break the fourth wall is what they did, and they've ruined the show forever.
Uncool! 0/10!

Which is exactly why I steer well clear of Outpost P.E. and Secretarial Studies teachers. Tis a nasty, dangerous place.Aspadistra wrote:Sid Seadevil wrote:Loads of P.E. and Secretarial Studies teachers voted for it I suppose.

I don't know about "excellent". They played to her strengths. She's got miserable and slightly-seductive-bullying nailed, but I don't think you could keep it entertaining for a long haul...

And the same is now destined to happen to Torchwood now that the news has leaked that there's somebody from Hollyoakes in it.

Surely. It's the end of the world again again. Happens a lot for something you'd think would only need to happen one time.Sid Seadevil wrote:And the same is now destined to happen to Torchwood now that the news has leaked that there's somebody from Hollyoakes in it.

Doubtful, old chap. Not enough people remember/care/love either show enough now to make the effort to reset.Zoltar wrote:Or someone's got ahold of the dreaded Reset Button.

I dunno, I've read some comments recently about the old forgotten show that definitely seem like they're stuck in a loop.Sid Seadevil wrote:Doubtful, old chap. Not enough people remember/care/love either show enough now to make the effort to reset.

Yes, but that's a sad, pathetic and rapidly dwindling number of old school dinosaurs. They'll soon be as extinct as the objects of their affections.Zoltar wrote:I dunno, I've read some comments recently about the old forgotten show that definitely seem like they're stuck in a loop.
