Well remembered Barno - Walt Simonson's Thor. Add it to my list. A shame he hasn't managed anything like that since.

Agreed. The only issue I remember liking in connection to it was Byrne's FF issue that explained where Beyonder got the Doom he brought to Battleworld from. Beyond that, no pun intended, Secret Wars 2 just sort meandered about.

I have a whole slew of comedians that I enjoy, but my faves would have to be the George Carlin, Richard Pryor, Benny Hill, the Monty Python gang and Don Rickles.

Hrmm without really thinking about it, on the top of my mind, I would say:

Watchmen
Chronicles of Wormwood
Hellboy (my first comic *sheds a tear*)
Planetary
Nextwave
Bad dog (yep, only two issues but I'm already a fan.)
Atomic Robo
Planet Hulk
Wormwood: gentleman corpse
And I'm very confused about Invicible. I liked it a LOT. I really was hooked. But now... it seems endless and I do feel, from time to time, that I'm reading some new version of Dragon Ball.... Yeah, I know, I'm bad. ^^

There must be plenty of other comics that I enjoyed but I don't have them within reach, so it's difficult to list them definitely. Oh well, I'll update that list later, I guess. Very Happy

I do know what you mean, but I still enjoy it. If it gets too "Super Ultimate Final Mega Conquest!!!", it certainly may turn me off to the book.
