Re: The start of a new era
When do we find out individual episode titles? I'm only asking because I think we should create a season's worth of "Rate The Episode" threads and keep them on ice until after each has been transmitted.

Re: The start of a new era
seems a "web-comic" site is pointing to a derivitive site of theirs dedicated to movie trailers that is playing the new Doctor Who trailer --
http://trailerstation.keenspot.com/
(plays after a game advert)
not sure if they think it is a movie trailer or is a paid sponsor ad

Re: The start of a new era
Why did you choose to call this section "The Matt Smith Era" and not the "Moffat Era" ?
Right now they're both the same thing but if a new Doctor comes along after 1, 2 series of Matt Smith, and Moffat stays, or if Matt Smith stays longer than Moffat...
But I guess it's a bit early to start worrying about these things !!

Not to worry, C=O. All things Eleventy is now named for Steven Moffat.

Re: The start of a new era
Apparently the trailer broadcast on Sunday night that said April 3rd shouldn't have gone out. Someone put the wrong one on the gramaphone.

I was convinced McGann would be back last year for End of Time, I'm not setting myself up for that fall again. It hurt!

Reminds me of Bob Ainsworth accidentally revealing the date of the general election. The Co=Ordinator wrote:Apparently the trailer broadcast on Sunday night that said April 3rd shouldn't have gone out. Someone put the wrong one on the gramaphone.

Re: The start of a new era
I'm actually getting quite excited now, my recently more detached position with fandom has significantly increased my enjoyment of the show.

We want NEW Aliens, NEW Monsters! Resurrecting old story lines is just being lazy and I cannot imagine they'd be that lazy.
Not long now...!
Re: The start of a new era
Maybe the Valeyard won't be returning but some old enemies are coming back apparently (from what I've read)
- Spoiler:
The Daleks and the Silurians.
And a not-so-old enemy: the Weeping Angels, and I'm really looking forward to seeing more of them (though I must not blink^^)

Yes, brand new aliens like the Daleks and the Cybermen, both of whom have been around since William Hartnell.sulamite wrote:We want NEW Aliens, NEW Monsters!

Erhm..... I guess you're being sarcastic...?
Re: The start of a new era
Yes. Sorry. It's been a long day, and a woman in a hotel told me off for eating too much breakfast
But your clip of One is just what I needed to cheer me up

Re: The start of a new era
A very appropriate clip as I've recently watched episode 2 of The Space Museum!

I don't hold out much hope for this new series after seeing that trailer.

You never know
the Doctor Who trailers shown on France 4 often make the series look bad but here we all know how FAN-TA-STIC it actually is

Ah, I knew this place was missing something. GB better not have banned you too sparacus or there'll be riots in the streets. I'll loot every bit of Adam Rickett merchandise I see (Which will admittedly probably amount to none).
