What is your favourite story from Series 6 (part a)

So, a three month wait until "Let's Kill Hitler" - Oh Mel Brooks, Where Are Thou?

In the meantime, which is your favourite story from the five served up so far?

I've just ranked these over on GB! The openers for me - they solved lots of mysteries and created more whilst never letting up on the pace. Marvellous stuff! Followed by The Doctor's Wife, Rebel Flesh, Good Man and Black Spot in that order.

Another one for The Doctors Wife. A Good Man Goes To War in close second though. Two of the best episodes ever, let alone this series.

I couldn't decide btwn The D's Wife and A G M G to W; in the end, I plumped for the latter because of the fun elements; however, The D's Wife was the more aesthetically beautiful of the two.

I think The Doctor's Wife and The Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon are my preferred stories, in that order. I quite like The Rebel Flesh/The Almost People but think that it could be improved. The Curse of the Black Spot is undemanding but amiable enough. Probably a good choice to watch when feeling tired or ill. I'm not at all sure about A Good Man Goes To War. Good but OTT and I don't know where to place it - we probably need to see some more episodes for me to decide.

A Good Man... wins for its sheer audacity, although The Doctor's Wife comes incredibly close, and the opening two parter isn't far behind.

I've liked them all in one way or another, each being nicely different from each other (even The Curse... is a good, albeit generic, episode).

Great half series so far, and I look forward to its concluding half.
