looks like it's going to be scary.
i'm thinking more and more that a hallowe'en date could be happening after all.
looks brilliant anyway- can't wait. although obvioulsy i'll have to.

I can't wait either...
I don't really want specials though - I want a proper series!! I have always steered clear of spoilers but a week or two back I started going to the spoiler thread - I am definitely feeling the lack of a new series starting when there 'should' be one...

High time we visited Mars. It's only next door, after all.
I want a huge gribbly water monster.

Lucy,
Just because the title has the word "Mars" in it doesn't necessarily mean a visit there is in order. The Ice Warriors could just be sending us a neighbo

Indeed. Or maybe it's an evil plot to sell overpriced bottled water hatched by the guys who make M&Ms and Twix.Patrick wrote:Lucy,

Complete with random appearances by Sid Seadevil to wreak havoc throughout the adventure.

Who are you who is so wise in the ways of foreshadowing?

Perhaps the aliens from V have returned, but decided there are sufficient resources for them on our neighbouring planet!

No, it's on some time before Xmas, as RTD says in DWM. November probably.

Re: "The Waters Of Mars"
Based on the old tradition of equinoxes and solstices, Autumn runs from September 22nd to December 20th. Christmas runs from December 25th to February 2nd.
December 19th falls in Advent. FWIW, POTD wasn't an "Easter Special". Easter started today and runs till Ascension.
RTD plays games with us all the time, and he's enjoying his final chance to do so.

Re: "The Waters Of Mars"
Mmmmm, I think you're grasping at straws there. He said that there was plans to show all three at Xmas but that was changed a few months ago. He says that the next one will be before Xmas. In the real world we consider Xmas Eve also to be Xmas, no matter what your solstices or equinoxes say.

No, Easter starts on Good Friday. That's when the Easter weekend starts. We get an holiday to prove it. It goes on through Easter Monday. Nobody, apart from perhaps yourself, will still be in Easter in 40 days time.
