great stuff.

maybe part 4 was a slight letdown(as is often the case with many stories) but visually, a very strong story. looks great on dvd after watching my dodgy vhs copy.

Blimey, I'd forgotten this was released today. Is Jan Vincent Rudski on any of the extras Barnaby?

he's on the documentary. he seems to have got over his rage of 32 years ago.

I'm going to rate this 4/5. It's a very important story, not least because of my old mate Engin, but I can't give it a 5, because both Robots of Death & Talons of Weng Chiang are better by some margin IMO.

Well it certainly wasn't sparacus!

Excellent story, a prime candidate for my Top 20 when we get to it in the Nap Year Marathon. The scenes in the Matrix are so creepy and so well-done. Funny how this is one of my all-time favorites while Arc of Infinity is perhaps my least favorite Doctor Who story of all time. Maybe it's because Assassin got just about everything right while Arc got virtually everything wrong.
