"Isolate Grid Epsilon and Magnify"
...we've all seen that bit in any show you care to name (CSI/Fringe/America's Next Top Model) where someone superzooms into a picture and pulls out absurd levels of detail.
Can't be done, right?
I thought so too. It turns out that we were wrong. Have a look at this...
Now zoom in. And in. And in.
In some of those apartments, you can see what people are watching on the TV. Hours of creepy, stalkerish fun.
Don't tell Google Streetview about this or there'll be pictures so detailed if you zoom in all the way you'll be able to tell what people had for dinner!

Re: "Isolate Grid Epsilon and Magnify"
Forget what they're watching on TV- what about what they're wearing. There's one apartment with a woman talking on the phone wearing her undies.

Is there?
...which sort of reinforces the whole "creepy, stalkerish" thing. I was rather taken with the giant fish breaking into the apartment. See if you can find it.

That is literally like trying to find a needle in a haystack. I spent 20 minutes looking with no success. I did, however, get lots of decorating ideas after peeking into all those windows.

Yeah, this tech won't be abused at all. I'm sure of it...

I'm not sure, but I think I've been on the receiving end of a light bit of character assassination. Zoltar, are you simply jealous that I found the scantilly clad lady first?

It's a rare gift. Something akin to having your very own "Spidy Sense" - only it's called "Stalker-Sense". Kate can testify that it took me less than three minutes to zero in on "scanty girl", when I first discovered that site by complete accident about a month ago.Zoltar wrote:I knew we could count of you to find her, Patrick.

Initially, I was going to mention it here - but then I thought..."Nawwww. Why should I share the fun with anyone else?" So didn't.
The technology is mouth-watering too.

Count six blocks in from the left of the picture and she's in one of the lighted windows in the middle of the block.Rich Flair wrote:I can't find her - anybody got a grid reference?

Don't die yet, Rich. I've heard that lots of different women wear lots of different types of underwear!* Plenty more to see!Rich Flair wrote:Thanks Sid - now thatI've seen a woman in her underwear I can finally die.
*NOTE: So far, this is just little more than an unsubstantiated rumour.

I can't tell the difference, so I'm sticking with my original pronouncement that she's wearing underwear. But that's just me.
