Do they? Have you any statistical evidence to substantiate this? Do BARB have a P*issed AI?
I have only empirical observation, myself.

Re: A Christmas Carol. Pre-transmission discussion
Okay, here's my little prediction for what we're going to see tomorrow with "A Christmas Carol."
In the previous five years, RTD being RTD, we've gotten a fractured version of the Christmas mythos:
- Christmas trees that could shred walls,
- Flying ornaments that doubled as bombs,
- A Santa Brass Band with lethal instruments,
- A Christmas Star that tried to fry everyone in London,
- A tour guide who thinks that this time every year, we attack the country of Turkey and every 26th of December, the people of the UK, Canada and Australia start boxing.
- A Victorian-era woman who wears red to a funeral,
- Cyber-wraiths who stand in for the spirits of Christmas,
- A villain with a monsterous appetite for Christmas dinner, and
- Christmastime Peace on Earth in the form of all six billion people becoming the Master.
Now that the Christmas Special is in the hands of the Moff, expect something quite different. I predict that the story we're going to see won't involve some fractured element of Christmas, it will be a more direct interpretation of something Christmas-y set in a world all the Moff's making. No alien invasions, no massive Christmas disaster, just a toned down re-interpretation of a Christmas classic.
Not that this is a particularly insightful prediction- the clues are pretty obvious, really- but I wanted to put this down for the record before it airs so that I can see afterward how accurate I was.

Look on the bright side barnaby. Maybe being drunk will be the very best way to understand it.
