According to Tom Spilsbury on Twitter, bootleg Doctor Who scarves are being sold outside Wembley Stadium.
Got my ticket for tomorrow. Can't wait!

Loved every second of it. A big, marvellous Doctor Who pantomime. I may go again.

Re: Doctor Who Live Tour!
Doctor Who Proms meet Series 5 meets Carnival of Monsters. The narrative is wafer thin, the stage too large for Planer when by himself. I found the first half weak, the whole Churchill WW2 thing went on for far too long and was, quite frankly, poor. However it warms up nicely in the second half.
Gold's muisc remains a key thing, especially during the *reduced* regeneration scene. Roberts has several pops at fan, but also includes plenty of nice little nods, including the Dardis sound from The Chase.
Overall at £42+ a ticket (inc booking fee) I don't think it was great value for money, but I still enjoyed it, as did The Ninja.
Some photos:
The Silurians look like they'ye been naughty and are traipsing into the Headmasters' office.
Like Clockwork...........
"Oh, No. I'm being hassled by a Daleks".
The Fatleks.
Moff & family were 3 rows behind us this afternoon!
- Spoiler:
- Nice to have a little dalek v cyber battle on stage!

Re: Doctor Who Live Tour!
By the way, is that leaflet I picked up for the "Doctor Who Experience" legit? The website doesn't appear to lead to anything.

Re: Doctor Who Live Tour!
I've started a separate thread on the Doctor Who Experience.
In the meantime I'm hearing that plans for another live show next year are at an advanced stage due to the success of this one so far. I'm a bit surprised at this, so the usual pinch of salt required.
I'm actually just a tad concerned that BBC Branding is in danger of overkill. Or maybe that's just me!

I was actually pleasantly surprised at how popular the Wembley Shows were; even the one I attended, which was the quietest one of the set, had queues stretching around the arena, and there wasn't a T-shirt to be found. Certainly a different story than what we've heard elsewhere.
Besides, the Top Gear Live thing has been going on for a while in various different guises, and that hasn't damaged the show's image or reputation one bit.
Incidentally, I've just remembered my favourite part of the show; the audience reaction to the Weeping Angels. The pure tension throughout the buildup with the band playing was magnificent, not to mention the immediate aftermath; the kids were wailing.

Re: Doctor Who Live Tour!
Yes it was a scray highpoint. They kept Briggsy busy, what with Churchill, the Seargeant and all the voices!

Re: Doctor Who Live Tour!
If you're in Manchester, there's a 2-for-1 offer for tickets to Doctor Who Live at the MEN Arena, October 22-24. Applies to all price tickets - ring 0844 847 8000 and quote 'MANCHESTER MONSTER OFFER'. Booking fee applies.
For those of us who paid full price that's a bit of a kick in the gonads, but there you go. Caveat emptor.
