It's clearly a tribute to Nick.

Saw my first commercial for this last night, as I was watching more Morris Marinas being destroyed on Top Gear. Season 6b (if I may call it that) will commence on BBC-America on Saturday, August 27th.

I question the wisdom of doing this. The following weekend is the Labor Day holiday, and if the idiots at BBC-A scheduling do the same thing they did over Memorial Day, it's going to throw the whole series off one week again.

Still, that trailer looks magnificient.

Maybe we'll get lucky and BBCA will have listened to the complaints from Memorial Day.

The wait is almost over. The second part of the thrilling new series of Doctor Who begins on 27 August 2011.
